Promotion of
a newly published 'Manual for Entrepreneurs:
How to Start and Develop Your Business' took place on 31
May in NSHC's premises. Authors and lecturers from NSHC's School for
Entrepreneurs spoke about the Manual: Dr. Sonja Buncic, Mr.
Zvjezdana Vunjak, Dragana Jovanovic-Boka CTI, and project
manager Branka Kresoja. The Manual contains
chapters on basic rules and procedures for successful start-up and
development of small business - from preconditions needed
for registration, instructions how to make a business plan
and how to make financial reports, to management skills.
Manual contains chapters on marketing, advertising and
public relations. Separate chapter is dedicated to
importance and role of business skills for successful
business development. The Manual was printed within the
project 'Entrepreneurship One Stop Center'; it was made
primarily for trainees of NSHC's School of Entrepreneurship,
but also for all others who are interested in starting and
developing their own business. |

“Entrepreneurship
One-Stop Center”
is a project
which contributes to development and promotion of
entrepreneurship in Serbia. The goal of the project is to
provide incentives for start-ups through support in staring
one's own business and increasing awareness about the
significance of entrepreneurship and its advantages when it
comes to economic development of Vojvodina. The project was realized within the Enterprise Development and
Entrepreneurship Programme (EDEP), financed by EU and
implemented by European Agency for Reconstruction. The
project lasted for 10 months, from October 13, 2006 to
August 12, 2007.
Aims of the project are reached through direct support
to future entrepreneurs and to those who already started
their business: entrepreneurship training, school of
computers, provision of information and consultancy, and
many other services. A total of 200 beneficiaries was supported through the following activities:
1.
Entrepreneurship Training
for 96 beneficiaries
The
training was intended for all future entrepreneurs, to those
who wish to develop their existing business and all those
who see their professional future in entrepreneurship.
Trainers are experts in the fields of economy, law,
marketing, adult education and pedagogy.
The training lasted for 92 hours (2
months), and it was held in NSHC's premises each Friday from
4PM to 7,30PM and Saturday from 9,30AM to 5,30 PM. There
were four cycles of training organized during the project:

Training Curriculum
2.
Computer School in
NS Telecentar
for 48 beneficiaries
NS Telecentar
is an internationally
recognized ECDL test center where all trainings are held
according to ECDL standards of the European Union. The
training was held in NS Telecentar, which is a part of
NSHC. The best 12 beneficiaries had an opportunity to
attend, free of charge, all seven training modules.
3.
Entrepreneurs' Club for 180 beneficiaires, each working day
from 2PM to 5PM
Activities:

Internet

and counseling for entrepreneurs,

Monthly
meetings of members,

Presentation
of important stakeholders (once a month, there will be 8
presentations of banks, enterprises, funds etc.)
4.
Promotion of
entrepreneurship,
through:

Production and broadcasting of 8 TV programmes (starting
own business, small and medium sized enterprises, legal
basis for a start up, funds and loans, business plan,
enterprise managements etc.)

Organisation of 8 public tribunes after TV programmes in
order to discuss the subjects presented;

Presentation
of important stakeholders (once a month, there will be 8
presentations of banks, enterprises, funds etc.)

Production and
distribution of information for entrepreneurs
(5000
pcs);

Printing leaflets in
order to inform citizens and promote entrepreneurship
(10 000
pcs).
